Mind, soul, consciousness – what is what?

By Nachrichten

A question via mail: Can the spirit of person and the soul leave his body separately? First the spirit? Then, days later, the soul?
What an interesting question: In the context mentioned, to my knowledge, three terms are very important: Spirit, soul, consciousness.
Well, the mind and the psyche are also important. But please, let’s focus on the first three now.
If one of the three is mentioned, it is by not clear what is meant by that.

Not least because there is no scientifically sound distinction between the spirit, soul and consciousness.

My point of view is: There is the transpersonal spirit, comprehensible as a subtle field. You can call it God. But not the one with the beard. Just transpersonal consciousness without individuality. Imaginable as intelligent space. Stretched from infinity to infinity.
And then there is consciousness which feels separated from the source and alone. It is located within the realm of time, space and matter. That is individuality, which evolves personality via experience. It’s most precious and subtle part is the individual spirit.
Developing personality is not as comfortable as it sounds. As you might know, it’s hard work, often painful and leading into a stressful life with a lot of burdens, in company with the own pain body. Out of this experiences arises a mental karma body: the soul.
Every human being can reflect a part of the soul: his ego. And a part hardly or not at all: its subconsciousness.
Individual spirit incarnates within the mantle of his soul (woven out of all experiences ever made), from which in turn an impulse for the present and the future grows: the so-called karma. And people are – in general terms – busy, from the perspective of their ego, to understand the underlying subconsciousness and thus to grasp their entire existence. Which could be a real mess.

Assuming that the individual mind has just released itself from the transpersonal field of the divine spirit, it has effectively drifted out of the ocean into individuality, so it has already related experiences and interlinked possibilities.
These experiences and possibilities in the multidimensional mental space cause inclinations.
At this stage of individual existence the word desire would be too specific. Because inclinations are to be understood as a subtle result of condensations and first delicate concretizations.
Life is a very consistent consequence of it. At the moment of incarnation, at the latest with implantation and embryonic growth, the spirit that has arrived in life, wrapped in the karmic cloak of its soul, becomes biologically entwined with life. His consciousness, in fact, interlocks with the maturing brain and begins to process cognition biologically based.
This does not mean that the intrauterine child solves mathematical puzzles or ponders the cave equation. However, it reacts to maternal sensitivities (taken in hormonally via the umbilical cord blood). At the end of this series of birth-related compressions, the newborn finally begins to breathe and develop self-reliance in life.
In the process of dying, the birth cascade of densifications runs the other way around, namely as a succession of expansions. The strangest phenomena are possible.
Even during life, individual consciousness can temporarily move away from the biological body. In near-death experiences after accidents or through out-of-body experiences in moments of extreme anxiety or danger these phenomenons could be observed.
Good causes for the soul to slip. And the phrase: one is standing next to himself, has something to do with it. But the spirit can not slip or get lost during his lifetime. When the spirit gives up the body, the affected person dies. Because this kind of giving up is the very cause of death. When there is no more vital “interest” in the body as the vehicle of life, death occurs. Sooner or later.

In the course of death, the mind leaves the body, taking with it the mantle of the soul (all experiences ever made in this life and all before).
This moment is observable as an auratic flare.
In fact, the spiritual, the mental, the emotional aura and also part of the individual astral body are taken along.
To be able to act beyond a biological being with a mental body.

I have described these processes in detail in my “Book of Transition – Spiritual Medicine and Terminal Care”.

Psychogenic death

By Nachrichten

Comes a patient with a stomachache to the doctor. The diagnostic machine is started. Finally, the message from the physician: “You have pancreatic cancer, already strewn, inoperable. You will die within the next few months. Get your affairs in order.“

The patient dies as predicted.

Now my question: by which?

Because of organ failure, but depending on the case, is a standard answer of physicians.
Pancreatic cancer, the more as it has spread, is dangerous. People with this diagnosis may face grave health problems. Thanks to modern palliative care less painful.
But that does not answer the question why a patient with pancreatic cancer actually dies – if he dies.

A physician recently told me about a case that caused a stir in the US. A girl is trapped overnight in a cold room by an unfortunate coincidence. The next morning the girl is dead. Not because the lack of oxygen. There was no shortage, the chamber was probably big enough, but because of hypothermia. Only: The cooling chamber was not in operation at the time of her stay, because switched off. Inside, temperatures were similar to those outside. Nevertheless, the girl died the death by cold.

Exactly: The condemned die fast. Even faster, when you believe that you will die. The more, when you believe it firmly.

Psychogenic death is this phenomenon called in medical psychology: death by imagination, death as the result of the expectation of dying.

During the first half of the last century, Eskimos, natives in Africa, North and South American Indians, Aborigines in Australia, New Zealand Māori and natives on various South Seas islands have been frequently observed and studied. Psychogenic death is usually triggered by verbal suggestion. “I order you to die,” an Eskimo wizard said to a very healthy and strong man. The man was dead within four days.

Well, Europeans are different, you may say. Modern Europeans have a different attitude to death and dying.
Right. There is another observation, which has also been made by several researchers of indigenous peoples: The natives seem to take dying lightly. They do not fight against death and for life. Sometimes it seems rather likely the contrary.
„I knew several young women and men who just laid themselves down and died, easy and calm,” reports the preacher J. H. Holmes in 1924 from New Guinea.
Which part of Christianity has invented the fear of death?, one could ask now, but that would be a side path in this article.

More importantly, how was psychogenic death transferred into our present times?

The answer is a good guess on my part because it is not based on studies, but on observations and thus not representative. Nevertheless, the modern shamans in hospitals (and yes, there is a lot of money here) stick to their sovereignty. They are used to the power of the last means. And be it a life / death prognosis.
And the psychogenic death proves them right. From my point of view as a serviceable phenomenon. Afterwards the modern shaman always can say: Organ failure as consequence of …
Yes, a serviceable phenomenon. No, not in terms of a conspiracy theory. Because the participants did not conspire together. The thing has grown rather conspiratorial. Bit by bit. And now it needs to be turned around. Very helpful would be a study in oncology on the power of healthy speech.
Well, by which the patient with pancreatic cancer has actually died of is not clear at this point. However, I like to emphasise that the end-of-time forecast was of little use for his existence. To be continued …

More in a next post.
