Bad Memories & Trauma Removal 3.

By Nachrichten

Whatever a person has experienced at the beginning of life – everything else is added. Regrettably, a person’s psyche works like this: negative experiences are stacked up. It’s not uncommon for a lot of things to add up, which later proves to be really bad. Perhaps a person’s inner world trembles as a result, perhaps his world is shaken, perhaps his innermost convictions about himself and others are scratched, perhaps the burdened person develops a disturbed relationship with himself.

And when then another threshold is crossed, the world might possibly get completely out of control. The separation from the partner was too much, the death of the mother too sudden, the diagnosis too hard, the accident too unpredictable. Or environmental catastrophes, possibly war (in Germany soldiers returning home from Afghanistan and Mali are particularly affected). Those who remain physically unharmed, i.e. get away with life, are likely to be caught up in the psychological consequences. Medically called PTSD: Posttraumatic stress disorder.

PTSD is a disease of the psyche as a result of horror. After that, little or nothing is possible. Going out for work, shopping, or even just getting out of bed in the morning – what was recently still feasible seems suddenly no longer possible. What could be called functioning has ceased to function – to put it simply. Because PTSD and its possible side effects are manifold.

The method currently favoured in psychology for the therapy of PTSD is hidden in another abbreviation: EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. To put it briefly: Therapeutically initiated right/left, left/right eye movements, which cause a bilateral stimulation of the brain hemispheres, thus an interaction of the brain hemispheres, and – amazingly simple – can provide for an integration of the stressful experience. Discovered by New York psychologist Francine Shapiro on a walk through the park. When walking under trees, people do not look rigidly forward, but alternately to the right and left – probably a very old reflex from the early phases of human evolution. This wagging gaze has more than just a calming effect on the psyche – Shapiro noted and tested it on first volunteers. Among them: war traumatized soldiers.

Many studies have now shown how helpful EMDR is. So it is very good that this instrument exists.

I myself have been using my own method for about ten years: Trauma Abscission & Removal (abbreviated: TAR by Otmar Jenner). This method is based on the so-called character armour and has also proven to be highly effective. Recently, a psychologist told me: “You can do that. But can others also do that equally well?
My answer: “Trauma Abscission & Removal is not witchcraft. I have taught TAR in the training “Spiritual Medicine Advanced” to many students. They work with it equally effectively”.
In order to dispel further doubts in this direction, I will systematize the procedure of Trauma Abscission & Removal (TAR) as precisely as possible in the following articles. And, beyond that, I will connect my method with basics of EMDR.

Read more about this in the next articles.

Bad Memories & Trauma Removal 2.

By Nachrichten

A lot of people are in a real fix at the beginning of their lives. That is meant literally. The predicament follows the beauty as the shadow follows the light. First, the embryo rests in an oceanic realm, and his space is wide – that’s nice. Or less beautiful, when disturbing, if not hostile, impulses are already to be felt in this magnificent, carrying, oceanic expanse.

What kind of impulses can these be? A depression of the mother, for example, flushed over the umbilical cord into the mind of the child. Or the fear of the mother, rejection of pregnancy by the mother.

Suppose the mother is happy about the pregnancy, she carries her child with devotion, is looking forward to its birth and is in tune with herself and her other circumstances – assuming that the pregnancy is ideal in the perspective of the child, it gets tight with increasing maturity

At first pleasantly tight as a gentle hug, then less pleasantly tight like a tight hug, finally crushing tight. You might think, good to know that there is the possibility of a Caesarean section. A section meaning: out as fast as possible. Then the child will be spared the crushing hells and the mother can gently sleep away from the torments of expulsion. One of the reasons why cut births are becoming more and more popular – and quite understandable. With all due respect to the female sovereignty of interpretation in this matter, I dare nevertheless to remark that such a shortening of the evolutionary and proven biological process of birth is in principle not ideal in the sense of the best interests of the child. In other words: Even an ideal Caesarean section birth, equivalent to a gentle removal of the child from the mother’s body using all the beneficial inventions of modern birth medicine – even this causes a traumatisation of the child.

Why? Perhaps because after the experience of intrauterine width, the experience of increasing narrowness makes sense. With the final redemption from extreme confinement a central and thus vital experience is made for further life. Whoever is deprived of this experience experiences a lack. And this lack may be greater than previously thought. In short: a trauma.

Another variant, however, is no less traumatizing: stuck in the birth canal. It doesn’t go back and forth. Tormenting minutes become martyring hours. If then the heart sounds go down, a section could be beneficial. If it is already too late for that, the suction cup or forceps are used. A blessing, perhaps, that these instruments are available in case of need. But the result is a traumatization. Probably from mother and child.

Or the first weeks after birth. The baby screams because its neck cartilage was dislocated during expulsion. Should be treated by a very experienced osteopath, but nobody comes up with the idea. The result will be? Probably a trauma. It may be that it lasts for life.

Not to mention the biographical reverberation of a breech birth, as well as threatening strangulation by the umbilical cord around the neck and other near-death experiences on the way into life. Or difficulties with breast-feeding after a comparatively relaxed arrival. Only a small part of humanity begins its own biography unharmed. Not least because modern people are decoupled from their own innermost knowledge of life processes and are full of fear and feel lost alongside powerful processes such as birth. The result is a civilizational mass derailment born out of ignorance and innermost alienation with a tendency to profound psychological injuries. Also called trauma. And that’s what it’s all about here: psychological injuries and wounded souls, triggered by great mental stress or physical pain, but usually both in combination, resulting in the experience of catastrophic threat, helplessness and powerlessness. The result is a mental shock with the aftershocks of consternation.

This applies not least to traumatization during birth, i.e. stressful experiences in the pre-linguistic experience space. All further psychological wounds acquired later are, so to speak, connected to this. Or rather are linked subconsciously.

In principle, people grow on obstacles, including wounds. However, some people do not manage to grow through crises without help from outside. Without impulses from outside, they can not transform an injury into knowledge and wisdom and as a result experience the maturation of their personality. These people are therefore, to a certain extent, prisoners of a deep-seated pain. They would like to free themselves from the pain, but they find no way to free themselves on their own. The consequence is livelong bondage.

This is exactly where the methodology of Trauma Abscission & Removal (abbreviated: TAR by Otmar Jenner) comes in. The therapeutic goal is to transform bondage into freedom.

More about this in the next article …

Bad Memories & Trauma Removal 1.

By Nachrichten

A clearing in the woods. Sun on a piece of moss. You kneel in front of it, stroke the palms over velvety, slightly damp green and smell a wonderful scent. You are five, six or seven years old, at most eleven, and accompanied by your parents. You could stay forever in this beautiful place, but your parents want to continue. So you decide to never forget this place with its fragrance. But there are other, also intense moments, and a few days later you do not even think about the clearing in the forest.

Years later and long grown up, maybe on a hike, maybe alone, maybe in company, you find yourself back in a clearing. Not the one from then. But pretty nice. Again sun on lush green moss, again this fine sweet-sour smell. Almost automatically you kneel down again. And suddenly you are in another time and space. You hear the voices of your parents, hear them talking, know why they were in a hurry, feel their tension hiding behind parental care and mindfulness. And it may be that this very beautiful memory gets a less beautiful connotation and leads to a hard and very adult cognition.

Through similarity memory is taken from oblivion and reactivated. Similar smells, similar tastes, similar sounds, similar tactile sensations, less through corresponding visual perceptions and analogous thoughts. That’s why thinking about the past is so difficult. As hard as you may try – memories couldn’t be forced mentally. But if there is a corresponding smell or taste – the feeling of yesteryears is again alive and present.

This also applies to less pleasant memories. Sometimes you find yourself stuck in a corner of your actual life, smelling something, hearing something, feeling something – and suddenly you realize that you were in a similar predicament before. This offers the opportunity to learn something from it at the moment and to grow biographically so that less pleasant memories can be regarded as valuable.

And then there are the experiences that you probably can not remember. Mental injuries concealed in the biographical depth, locked in oblivion, because too painful for the active memory. These are the traumas a person may have experienced – and must forget as soon as possible, since memorising it is unbearable. But real forgetting does not exist. Whatever is experienced remains preserved and biographically effective. In the case of traumatisation, often as hidden efficacy. Not infrequently perceptible as subliminal impulses that lead to strange, comparatively unhealthy actions. Self-destructive behavior, for example, in the form of mental dependencies or substance-related addictions, for example – but the consequences of traumatization on behavior are as individual as people with their respective inhibitions and needs are unique.

The biography of a person cannot be changed in retrospect. An injury can therefore not be undone. However, the consequences can be changed very effectively. And the method of Trauma Abscission & Removal (abbreviated: TAR by Otmar Jenner) makes this possible. After approximately ten years of practice the method will be refined and systematized.

Stay tuned for further contributions!

Golden Trees

By Nachrichten

Gold is growing on trees, scientists from CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, have found out. As below, so above, your could say. Well, that’s known, right?

“As above, so below; as inside, so outside; like the spirit, so the body”, is the second hermetic law from the 1908 published “Kybalion “, a book that refers directly to the alchemist Hermes Trismegistos.

As in heaven, so on earth; like on a large scale, so on a small scale – that’s how you can continue the series.

But it’s not that simple.
The small, or rather the very small, namely the tiniest of the tiny, can not be related with the great as declared in the alchemical analogy.
Because on the level of the extremely small nothing is as it is on the level of the big. What is called an “either / or” relationship on a large scale means “as well / as” or “both / and” in the extremely small, namely at the quantum level.

This is a problem which keeps heads spinning.

The analogy from the Kybalion sounds beautiful and plausible – but it is wrong and probably expresses more hope than reality.

The fact is: On the quantum level there is nothing like it is on the level of visible and touchable matter. Quantum mechanics and Kepler’s laws are hardly interlinked.
That means, the law of analogy inherits a gap of understanding, which is yet not closed. If something is true, the exact opposite is probably true as well. A hitherto unresolved dilemma of the present.
All the more astonishing is the fact that the first law of the Kybalion is confirmed by this. “The universe is spiritual; everything is spiritual, “says the first law. For Kepler and his followers a No Go. What you can not knock on, that does not exist, they trumpeted over a century. However, since the discovery and experimental confirmation of quantum mechanics, the knowledge has come through that the source of all being is spiritual.
Everything is connected with everything at the level of the mind. So too the gold in the earth with the leaves on the tree. Trees take water and nutrients through the roots as well. Also gold atoms, if they grow over deposits. Anyone looking for gold first collects leaves to be analyzed with an extremely subtle mass spectrometer. If Aurum is indicated, it is worth digging in the ground. Well, does that mean, like above, so below?

Spiritual Self-Defense, part 6

By Nachrichten

Places of power give strength. Unhealthy places cost strength. Some rooms rob power. Some terrain is eating power away. Airports are known to be exhausting, as are train stations. Too much hustle. The price of public places. But you can avoid them if they suck too much energy from you.
However, there are rooms where a daily and longer stay is inevitable. Because you live or work there for example. Maybe your own house. Your own apartment. Or your own office.
When such a place turns out to be unhealthy, it becomes problematic. Such places make you sick. Mostly insidious. Often first mentally, then physically. Or both at once.

Question: How can I tell if my apartment, my house or my office is a place of power for me, so it has a healing effect on me? Or whether it is a space that consumes, which means it costs energy and in the long run would prove unhealthy?
Answer: There are hints for the latter.

If you feel cold in your own home, although the heating works well and is also turned up, but in other places that are comparably warm you do not feel cold – this should be taken as a hint.
If you sleep better in the hotel than in your own bedroom, although it is actually quiet in your own bedroom – this should be taken as a hint as well.
Those who often dream badly in their own bedroom, but not at nights while staying somewhere else – should also consider this as a hint.
Those who often experience attacks of unfounded anger or other very negative moods at their own homes and feel much more comfortable in other apartments and see fewer negative moods altogether – should take this as a serious indication.
Anyone who gets headaches at their own home, which disappear or do not appear in other places – should take this as a very serious indication.
Anyone who is constantly ill and thinks it could also be because of the apartment, and then moves to a friend or in a hotel room, with the result of immediate recovery  – should consider this as a very serious indication.
Anyone who is often able to measure elevated blood pressure at their own home, which sinks to the normal range after leaving and sitting in a café or staying at work – should consider this as a very serious indication for a burden at home. The same applies to your own apartment, your own office, your own workplace
When a place feels stressful or even unhealthy, the next meaningful question is: why exactly?
Because there are chemical, biological, electromagnetical and other physical reasons. These reasons (such as pollution by environmental toxins, spores of fungi, radiation from high-voltage power lines, radar, radio, mobile phones, but also irritations by water veins and geomagnetic fields) should be excluded or eliminated (if they exist). Probably with the expert help of construction biologists or environmental engineers.
When these probably existing problems have been solved, but your personal well-being does not improve then this is a hint for further informal-energetic burdens and stress – which also should be eliminated.

How?

Spiritual Self-Defense, part 5

Maintaining the human life functions works without having to think about it (mostly anyway). Slowing down your own heartbeat with the power of consciousness is possible, but difficult. To stop the reflex of winking with the eyelid by your own will is (if only for a few minutes) much easier. But after ten minutes it will become difficult. Breathing more slowly, pausing between breaths, or breathing without a pause and very fast, that seems easy for a while, but difficult in the long run. People long for automatism in the matter and would like to leave the job of breathing to their lungs alone.

So they do not have to think about it.

Well, there is no need to do so.

Breathing works without thinking.

However, sometimes your breath stops. Inevitably. The current of air is on hold. Automatically. You hold your breath. Just a little moment. Mostly too short to be registered by you at the moment. This is the moment where foreign energy can attach.
I know that sounds imprecise, somehow dubious. What is simply due to the fact that more precise and professional terms in that matter are missing. In any case, at the moment when the breath stops, in that very moment opens a kind of window for the affected person. A window that is like an invitation, an open gate through which can enter what wants to come in, what is sent, what should penetrate, energetically and informal.
That is why it is important to pay attention to your own breath. Especially in the very moments when you probably have something else to do. Whether it’s because of excitement or being carried away by fear or becoming angry. In such moments the door of the soul opens wide. Through this gate can suddenly enter, what wants to come in. Unhealthy energy for example, the pungent energy of not so nice colleagues, the unpleasant energy of strangers.

Therefore: breathe calmly. Slowly in and out. A single current that runs through the body, connecting the inside and with the outside, a wave that may be life itself, which is why it deserves attention. Especially in those moments when you want to withdraw the attention.
As long as the respiratory wave runs smoothly through the body, you are protected by it alone.

Spiritual Self-Defense, part 4

By Nachrichten

In everyday life, that’s not a secret, a lot can affect your mind. The result is heaps of thoughts which tend to become mountains. Those piles of thoughts can rise particularly harsh in sleepless hours between three and five o’clock in the morning. Thoughts, as rugged as bare rocks. And so bleak.
In the depressive phase of the 24-hour cycle, productive and meaningful thinking is almost impossible, meaningless pondering is all the more likely. This is a fact studied and proven in various psychological studies.
Who lies awake between three and five in the morning, thinks of unpleasant things as well as unfinished ones and does not stop this thinking, which provides very often sincere problems next morning. And if it was just the echo of a bad mood, which began in the very early morning hours, now it has the tendency to ruin the following day.
Whatever a person thinks between three and five o’clock in the morning, it is almost never positive. Almost never does optimism and enjoyment of life emerge from it. But almost – without exception – the opposite.
Therefore, it is helpful to think as little as possible during these times. At best, nothing.

Huh, how am I supposed to do that if I’m awake between three and five in the morning and my brain is wriggling because I can not think of anything other than lounging around and thinking?
My answer: it is okay to think. As long as it is meditative.
Ah, what exactly is meant by that?

Ideally, a procedure in two stages. First, by repeating a sequence of syllables whose only quality should be that it makes no sense. Only a consistently meaningless sequence causes an effect in the brain, which could be called tabula rasa – empty sheet. Example: Manigo-Remergo-Nangilomenko. Completely meaningless. You could try to think of a meaning. But any sense bounces off the bundled senselessness of this sequence of syllables.
This first stage of the method consists in repeating this or a similar sequence of syllables in your mind. Think the sequence without a break. And exclude other thoughts by doing so. In fact, other thinking is locked out.

Question: If I repeat this meaningless sequence of syllables in sleepless nights or morning hours – will I not be all the more awake? Maybe even agitated?
Answer: At the first attempts maybe, but then comes the resting affect. The empty sheet in the brain, the tabula rasa, guarantees a state of inner silence. This requires some practice. But after a few days, at the latest 14, the fruits are to be enjoyed: namely, more sleep in the same night and more energy the next day.
Then the second stage is used: breathing meditation.

How? Very easily. By watching the breath at the tip of the nose. By inhalation. When exhaling. Only that. And thoughts may come and go. There is no reason to hold on to it.
At this point, further questions arise: But how is this supposed to work in practice with the first and second stages? When do I think of the meaningless sequence of syllables and when do I observe my breath at the tip of my nose?
Answer: Who lies awake at dawn meditates most powerfully with the meaningless sequence of syllables. And that with open end.

When you wake up the next morning then watch your own breath at the tip of the nose for five to ten minutes. Later, levels one and two can be combined. So, for ten minutes, do the meditation with the meaningless syllable sequence, then the breathing meditation for another thirty minutes.

And now to the last question: Why is this part of a manual for spiritual self-defense? What does one thing have to do with the other?
Answer: a lot. People who have problems with harmful energies, people who feel energetically-informally burdened or attacked – these people are very often awake early in the morning. And if they are not awake early in the morning, they suffer from thought carousels during the day. So thoughts that revolve around certain, not pleasant topics, thus keep them away from more pleasant thoughts. Meditation is the only measure known to me which solves this problem permanently.

Spiritual Self-Defence, part 3

By Nachrichten

Three times a week: Taekwondo, Korean martial arts. Which means running, jumping, kicking, hitting. And all this with the utmost mindfulness and respect for your own physical possibilities. Yes, and those of your partner during sparring. I address my teacher as a “master”. I am the oldest student he has ever accepted.

Some people have difficulties reconciling my enjoyment of taekwondo with my work in my practice.
Understood. Martial Arts and Spiritual Medicine do not work like siblings. However, Taekwondo declares itself a peaceful Olympic sport, it comes from the military. And thus forms a counterpoint to the spiritual healing practiced by me, which certainly has not the slightest militaristic features. At this point, there is some friction in my biography, and some people find that questionable.
Me too. In my understanding in the sense of an invitation to ask. Therefore, I allow myself the following consideration: meditation, introspection, mental refinement, spiritual growth, spiritual knowledge, experiences of unity, moments of oneness as well as impulses of healing (healing of another person as well as of being healed) have nothing aggressive. Where does a person show himself more non-violent, pacifistic, and thus less fearful and more affectionate than in these moments, when his innermost self rises and the inner diamond shows itself, namely, as a bright light of internalized love?

All the more necessary is a shelter to protect the inner light, the unfolding of refinement and agape. If the protective space is missing, the light may only glow, could be extinguished in windy moments, gleaming again to extinguish once more, when the gray shadows of an ever again brutal world seemingly mercilessly and carelessly throw themselves over you with their sometimes lightless blackness.
That happens. Even if you do not want to admit it. And that results in burdens. Mental. And energetic.

What are those people who feel energetically burdened?
Without exception, people with a fine sensorium: highly sensitive.
The more sensitive someone is, the more rude feels what seems to be rough. Therefore, especially sensitive people should learn to protect themselves more effectively, perhaps to defend themselves, even to fight when necessary.
You may find this annoying or inappropriate. Especially in the consciousness of your own fineness and delicacy, words such as protection and fighting seem almost vulgar.
However, those who do not protect themselves, do not defend themselves and in principle reject the fight for their own well-being may be faced with a much greater problem. Spiritual Self-Defense provides an answer. The result of my experiences in Taekwondo and my work as a spiritual healer.

Spiritual Self-Defense, part 2

By Nachrichten

Invisible, inaudible, but all the more noticeable – namely, painful. That’s a problem. Spiritual Self-Defense is about getting rid of this problem.
In the landscape of consciousness, strange forces are at work, even windy beings are up for mischief. This is no reason to be scared, but a reason to be more mindful.
Energy parasites and suckers, grippers, adhesives and invaders do exist. That will be discussed. Because they could be energetic-informal enemies of the personal well-being and thus enemies of good health and vitality.

Some negative phenomena are split-off impulses of people who develop a substantial self-existence after the split-off. Born of the impulses greed, jealousy, envy, resentment, hatred, self-condemnation, persecution, tyranny and murderous intentions.
When a certain intensity threshold is exceeded, the impulses mentioned acquire a kind of independent life. Essentially set in the world they wander around and attach themselves to other people. Depending on the weakness and disturbed well-Being of a person, they could become a burden, they can create a disease, they can even tear the person into an abyss.
This energetic-informal disaster in which a person can land in succession is often classified by psychologists as diagnostic terms from the neurotic or psychotic group of forms.
But that may be misleading. Maybe the person just got infected.

Energetic-informal parasites, also called destructive elementals, can be recognized by the fact that they suck. They suck life energy and strength, resilience and vitality, joy and hope, love and dedication. They are enemies of well-being and thus of personal freedom.
What to do about it?

  1. Parasites of any kind are to be avoided.
  2. If you can not avoid them, it helps to let them vanish into nowhere.
  3. If you fail to let them go, then it is helpful to oppose them from a position of power, namely, out of the so called inner center.
  4. If you can not hold the position of the inner center, breathing calmly helps.
  5. If calm breathing does not succeed, then quick breathing helps. But only in combination with escape at the right moment.
  6. If escape is not possible, then it is advisable to defend yourself resolutely and consistently.

Spiritual Self-Defense is mental martial arts. Physical protection can be very useful. Likewise protective objects. But especially important are spiritual methods and means – manifested and concentrated through the power of visualizations, imaginations and clear intentions.
In the Landscape of Consciousness, a logical order and thus resilient harmony arise from consistency. Growing harmony in your own consciousness is like the gentle crescendo of a consonance. Think of a very slowly increasing orchestral sound. Everything starts quietly and gently coordinated to slowly increase. Like a wave that rises.
